Daily Inspiration

As a New Year's resolution last year one of my coworkers decided to send us a daily inspirational quote. (That lasted about a month.) Since we're getting close to 2016 another coworker is considering giving the quotes another try. In order to stick with it she started looking for an inspirational calendar so she can just "steal" the quotes that someone else took the time to painstakingly compile.

I agreed to help her search for a calendar and stumbled upon . The quote for today speaks about spending time in prayer daily to hear God's voice.

It was a reminder to me that whatever we choose to focus on each day is what will steer the direction of that day. This explains why I have tougher days at work when I start off complaining about traffic; a cycle of negativity is born.
I can't control whether or not my coworker will commit to sending out those inspirational quotes to help us start the workday off on the right foot. I can, however, control what I choose to focus on.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
