You might not feel like it right now but you are brave. It takes courage to face your fears. It takes courage to chase your dreams. It takes courage to embrace change.
Change is going to happen regardless of how much we fight it. So why not meet it with open arms? Don’t wait until something big happens that forces you to change. Rather accept change daily, bit-by-bit and sometimes wave-by-wave. The process refines you. It makes you a stronger and better version of yourself. A version that looks more like Christ.
You were not put on this planet to operate under your potential. Leave the safety of what’s known! Starting at the bottom is what prepares us for the top. Hold onto that when you get frustrated. Being the “little fish” has its perks. You’re able to observe those around you and learn from their mistakes. You’re able to stretch yourself and discover how resourceful you truly are. Think of it as a challenge you were born to ace.
Before you know it you’ll be smack dab in the middle of what God has prepared for you. Then you’ll look back and see your whole life, all the change, was getting you ready for this.
“…Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”
Esther 4:14 (NLT)
