Every January people flock to the gym with promises to start taking care of their bodies and plans to be swimsuit ready by June.
1 Corinthians 6:19 says:
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.
How we take care of our temple is a direct representation of our reverence for God. Physical fitness is only one aspect but it's an important one. Fall is the perfect time to start a new workout plan because we're headed into the holiday season. It's a big time for travel and catching up with friends and family members you haven’t seen in a while. So you'll want to look your best. It's also a big time for eating. Eating with others often causes us to eat more; which isn't the best for our waistlines.
That's why I'm super excited that the girls at Tone It Up are getting ready to kick off their next challenge Fit For Fall. Karena and Katrina always make working out simple and fun. They also post easy recipes that make meals a no brainer. If you remember I love shirts with fun sayings at the gym. I'm also a firm believer in buying a new item to motivate me to workout (versus as a reward after). So I'm glad to have an excuse to finally purchase a top from Cross Training Couture.
